back from the retreat. it was great. we had a nice time of just hanging out and getting a lot of information. the first night we played mafia 3 times. jason killed me at the beginning two times in a row. it's ok though because erin busted him with a raw egg. the llamas were great. we got to lead them around the yard. then they had a HUGE cow named betsy. when nolan was leading it to the field it started running. he was trying to be a cowboy, but it wasn't working out for him to well. craig wanted to ride the llamas, but he didn't get to. we DID find stirrups in the barn though... i don't think that they were for the shetland ponies. yeah we all smelled like animals. it was good to be back in the sleep in today. andy's got here on thursday afternoon so we hung out this afternoon some and watched the bourne supremacy. then we all went to andy hale's going away party at cafe castro. sad. it was fun though. filip, charlotte, daniel, aaron, anna, teddy, lasse, jacob, lisette, david, lea, andy and i all went. david nielsen was acting like a psycho. he was smacking everyone with a rolled up newspaper... even his wife. when we gpt back to the sleep in rebecca had arrived. good to see that mug. henrik was so happy to see her. his beloved rebecca has returned. ok, well, it is time for me to go to bed. goodnight denmark.

it is beautiful here. i love it. we leave tomorrow on retreat. they have llamas at this house where we are staying and craig wants to ride them. they also have snakes and that makes me a little nervous. what makes me more nervous is that nolan and jason KNOW that it makes me nervous. no telling what kind of stuff they are going to pull. andy will be here on thursday and we get back friday morning. HURRY UP!

went to henrik's house yesterday and watched a movie with him and daniel. he gave me a little tour of their gardens which was very nice i must say. he noticed that a window was open and mentioned that "like it was a good ting that he had come home because someone could like get into his house".
we went up to his room to watch the movie and i noticed that the screen on his stereo was cracked. i asked him what happened to it. he just started laughing ( as only henrik can) and slapping his knee. he says to me in between chuckles, " well, one day i well, kinda got like a liddle bit angry i guess like an anger pro--pr---pr--problem, and i tink dat i like get it from my dad maybe because he has a temper problem. the stereo wouldn't like play my new cds so i just punched it like, relly hod. it's like the time that i like made a liddle hole in my wall because i lost a game on my playstation ::insert high pitched laugh here::. but my dad he like fixed it a lot and it is relly good now. i guess i just should like not play games where i know i'll lose ::insert big henrik smile here::."
we went back to master's and henrik drove. i was just a littl bit nervous at first, but he did a great job. a "very safe driver" as daniel put it. before we left his house he went around and made sure that all the doors and windows were closed and locked. so cute. he can't wait for you all to get here.
um, weird aaron just walked into the computer lab. hi aaron. i gotta go.

here i am once again in chicago. got here and then had a little difficulty trying to make contact with the rebec. i finally called her mother who gave me her cell and i was able to call and tell her where i was. there was a little black man that was helping with my luggage because it was in ample supply and quite beefy. i got to ride on the little white cart and everything. felt like princess diana....errr.... the man told me that i should not leave my stuff alone because there were many people that got "jipped" up there on the street. he was very nice and was concerned for my well being. he wouldn't accept my money though... it's not like it was dirty.
i am sitting right now at nate and jim's place. in case anyone doesn't know jim got a 3 million dollar check for getting his finger cut off. there is one for a million magneted to his refridgerator... signed by the one and only nate hoops. jim was in better form this time though. he wasn't asking me when i got here and constantly hugging me. drugged up freak. he bid me goodnight and i told him to enjoy the candles that were lit in his room. he immediately took offense to this and thought that i was referring to his "gayness". i assured him that i wasn't, that i knew he had a girlfriend and i was just being polite. his reply, "well, elton john had a wife AND a kid, it didn't stop him. night mandie."

i walked into the kitchen and jonathan was wiping his hands.... on a whole roll of paper towels. they were strung all the way across our kitchen. when he saw me, and knew that he was caught, he just looked at me and started crying.

jonah bought me a cowboy hat today. i love jonah.
we went to st. genevieve, missouri this morning. there was a large craft fair there, and of course the mother was inclined to attend. so we all went. all of us. all nine of us. all nine of us piled in the retard wagon.... or homeschool bus, whichever you would prefer to call it. the 12 passenger van that we have to ride in when we are all together going anywhere. i would have to say that there were many great photo opportunities today. there was the hat shop, the cowboy stand, dip n' dots, corn dogs the size of your head... and the native american booth. oh, boy, had fun in that one. they had peace pipes and everything. yo yo navajo. it was actually a very nice day with the fam. things are never boring with them to say the least.
last night i got to go to st. louis and hang out with two of my best friends for the last time in a long time. we went to the international house of prayer there which is hosted by their church. they had asked me to come and do a devotional worship set because one of their worship leaders couldn't be there. i was actually really really nervous. which surprised me because i haven't had the butterflies in awhile. it was good. i played and sang for two hours straight. my fingers had the worst cramps ever, but jesus showed up so that is all that mattered. oh, man it was so good. haven't done that kind of worship in a long time. it was hardcore in the spirit man. love that. if anyone doesn't know what the house of prayer is, it is 24/7 prayer and intercession. they have live music and sing the bible and pray scripture. oh sooo good.

i was driving home this morning, from spending the night at my friend sarah's apartment, and lo and behold here is a student driver coming towards me. ahhhh, my favorite kind of drivers. i smile mischieviously to myself and as he gets closer, swerve a little over into his lane and then jerk back really quickly. i see his ten and two hands grip the wheel tighter and his eyes grow big behind his little glasses. i was so pleased with myself. i laughed for awhile. it is still good to laugh even when there is no one to laugh with you...

i wish that i was brave. last night i wanted to so badly go downstairs in the basement, put on the gorilla mask that has been laying down there for who knows how many years, and walk down to the woods behind my grandparents house to scare the crap out of the people that were camping out there. but at 12am, i just couldn't summon my courage. the woods were dark, and even though i knew them, i was afraid that i would get lost. i wish that jonah would have been here. then we would have pulled it off famously. it would have been the ultimate brother sister prank. shoot.

i went to see 'collateral' with my aunt mimi tonight. i wouldn't recommend it. the whole time all that i could think, was that there was hardly any plot to the movie. it was just blah. don't waste your money. go see bourne supremacy instead.
i hate the radio. never anything good to listen to. except for the occasional 'redneck woman' as i flip through, and that just makes me laugh and think about florida and riding with andy and nicole in the boonies of wisconsin. BUT...tonight i heard something interesting. there was a talk show on and they were discussing a recent occurence of road rage in sarasota, florida. there was a woman that found out that her husband was cheating on her. so she drove down to where he worked and waited for him to get off. as he, and some of his coworkers were coming out, she pounded the gas and ran them all over. she was put on probation and while on probation she found out that he was hanging out the part of town where 'escorts' happened to be. so she again hopped in her car and drove there. she waited and as expected, he showed up. she again put the peddle to the metal and ran him and some of his 'girls' over. no one was hurt in either instances except for some bruises and scratches. she was not put in jail, which i think is awesome. go her. for real.

i went out to relax, by laying out for awhile, after my stressful morning. i was almost asleep when the little fat fart from across the street decides to come over and drench me with his super soaker. as he ran away laughing i sat up and said, "that was not very funny james". i turned around to give him a dirty look only to see bouncing lovehandles and cracktown's mainstreet peeping out of the brim of his wet, sagging trunks. after that, all i could do was lay back and laugh.
...and yes i still have a guestbook if you all have forgotten. gosh.

this morning my dad came in (it's a saturday, mind you) and woke me up at 7:45am... on a saturday.........7.......45am. he told me to get up and go get a gallon of milk and then get dressed to work because i was going to help him clean out our two sheds and also put up my curtain rod in my room. as you can imaging i was not in the best of moods and was shouting just a little. we coudn't find the curtain rod bracket so he told me that if i didn't find it i was going to haul my butt over to carbondale and buy another one. no, i never found the bracket. wow, it has been a great morning. i just CAN'T WAIT to go to work this afternoon.

made a super later trip to c' dale last night. nick needed to go feed his fish so jonah and i hopped a ride with him just for the fun of it. we made fun of jonah the whole time because he didn't come home the night before (he was supposed to be in by 12am and got home at 8am) because he fell asleep at the "mcdonald's movie night", and so he had to be home by 1am... which meant since he was going with us, WE had to be home by 1am. thanks jonah. geez.
in other news, this morning i was straightening my sisters hair and daniel, my 5 year old brother, starts screaming, crying and jumping around like a freak. all that is distinguishable from what he says is, "THERE'S A BUG AND IT'S STINGING ME!!!! IT'S IN MY SHIRT!!!!". so, i started smacking his chest in hopes of killing the bug that was under his shirt. "NOW IT'S IN MY PANTS!!!!" he screamed. so, i take off his pants as quickly as possible only to find out that the wasp had only stung him on the finger and then i guess he thought that it was stinging him when it was moving around in his clothes. the wasp fell to the floor and we killed it. he is a little paranoid of bugs because a couple years a fly flew in his ear and he had to go to the emergency room and have it taken out. after that every time that he hears a bug he covers his hears and starts freaking out. my sister gets great joy of telling him that a bug is close and then watching him scream.

I lost myself in the summer rain
I lost myself
I lost myself in the summer rain
In the summer rain
It's not why you're running
It's where you're going
It's not what you're dreaming
But what you're gonna do
It's not where you're born
It's where you belong
It's not how weak
But what will make you strong

ON YOUR SIDE
if anyone wants you to succeed, I do. if anyone is on your side, I AM. there is no one more committed to your happiness than I , and no one even begins to love you like I do. and I want to clarify something. My love for you is more -- far more -- than a patronizing concern for your welfare. I like you. I enjoy you.
I realize you find all this hard to believe, but i want you to believe it. you'll have to sooner or later, so why not now? I think about you all the time, an i will stop at nothing to remind you of My presence. haven't you noticed?
