last night hannah, erin and i all were laying in bed watching a movie. there was a sound at the window that made me jump and hannah was like, "oh, i think that it was just me hitting my foot on it". ok, whatever. so we roll back over and i hear another sound at the window and then see someone moving around. great, ARABS. so i went over to shut the blinds so they wouldn't bother us and andy and aj run up and smash themselves on the wondow. yeah, we screamed and yelled and they thought that it was hilarious.
later on a real smart guy comes and stands outside our window with a scream mask on. this real smart guy wears the same jacket that he always wears. so of course we have no idea who it is... pfft. nice try. well, i guess you did scare erin. BUT NOT ME.

a crazy azusa party... and in bed by 2am.
i woke up this morning to daniel, danny and henrik's stupid danish cartoon that was booming through my walls.
death to them all.
my mom emailed me yesterday. this is all that it said...
today I bought the boys soccer socks because sunday they start soccer. they all had on their shin guards, socks and their soccer balls. daniel(the five year old) asks, "don't we get a cup?".

so, yeah ndifon has started. i went to the service last night just to hear mark cole sing. to my great delight he sang in danish... or tried to anyways. it was better when ndifon would join with him. there was this big black man that got up to sing a special song. he was talking about how this was his first trip to "copenhOgen"... he was pronouncing it all wrong and some guy from the crowd started yelling, "copenhAgen!!! copenhAgen!! say it right!" it was hilarious. then there was this lady that had gotten kicked or something that went up to be healed. i'm not sure that she was right in the head though...
later on i left the service and went to the children's room to see how the master's students in there were holding up. oh, they were just fine. there had been a little deaf girl in there, but they kicked her out so they could sit around and color, draw pictures, watch 'pingu' and eat all the snacks... so i joined them. ::grinning::

country cleaning party on the second floor yesterday evening with nolan and jason.
took hannah to a park for the second time late last night. we had blankets, and warm milk and honey and lots of candles... except the wind ended up killing them all. we laid there on our blanket and sang christmas carols and musicals at the top of our lungs. then laughed til we cried. it was great.

had a girls night in my room last night. there were 7 females stuffed in my room all watching my big fat greek wedding. it took about 25 minutes to get things set up and we ended up having to watch it in black and white STILL...which totally took away from the hideousness of the turquoise bridesmaid's dresses. sad.

went out to a cafe tonight with some people. well, kind of... i was there for like 5 minutes and then we left and walked around downtown for awhile ending up in nyhavn. that place at night... HOLY COW, it just screams romance. let's just say that i needed someone there to hold my hand and to look up at the stars with me. i remembered why i don't go down there at night. the parade of couples is depressing. DON'T BUY HER A ROSE, GEEZ! i swear the same guy tried to get us to buy roses 3 times. go away stupid arab man. you bother me.
then it rained.
which i enjoyed immensely.
it's nice when it's just light rain that sits on your face and not the kind that pelts out your eyes as you bike.
michael tangstad got married today. the ceremony was nice. the reception was nicer. there was lots of food at the reception. good cake. lise didn't like it. what a weirdo.
kasper came over last night and hung out. the evening started off well in nolan's apartment with a little mXc. great show. watch it. we laugh so hard at the japanese people. after that we thought that we might want to watch a movie, but jason wanted to go out. so we decide to go to tivoli. problems came with that. jason and kasper didn't have tivoli cards or even bikes to get to tivoli. we finally found bikes, but no cards.... ok ok to make a long story short we didn't do anything at all. andy, kasper and i all sat in hallway and stared at each other for an hour. i have not been so bored in i don't know how long. oh, well. i guess it has to happen every once in awhile or else there would be no appreciation for excitement in my life.

today was our first rock ministry training day. this is a ministry that goes out to the schools. we do dramas and talk about things such as identity, sex, drugs and alcohol. we are not allowed to talk about jesus in anything that we do. we can portray christian values though.
we practiced a human video to the song "because i got high"... andy was the lead. i would have to say that he played the part of a stoner maybe a little TOO well. gives cause to ponder...he then got to sit out and then girls had the spotlight. we had the privilege of doing a skit to "i'm an effing alcoholic". yeah we were all a drunken mass of girls. i will not even mention some of the things that we had to do. geez. makes me blush. it works in the schools though and that is what matters. it gets people to the azusa club downstairs and then into the youth groups.
call me people. my phone is working. 30 22 57 53.

gabriel mayes? what the...?
the retreat was great of course. i would have to say that it was probably the best one that i have ever been to. we had so much fun... though i did wake up every morning with spider bites and dead spiders in my sleeping bag. yummy.
the first night we just had hang out time and of course that meant lots of food and MAFIA. jason always kills me in the first round. pfft, whatever. sucker. he'll get his one day. he just needs to remember what happened to him two years ago when he was mean to me... the next day we had some meetings ( which i got out of because sarah and i had to go grocery shopping) and then more hang out time of course.
next morning we tried something that was new for all of us. reflective prayer. it is the kind of prayer that is done in the lutheran and catholic churches. you say bible verses back and forth to each other and pray certain prayers. i will not taint this entry with my personal opinion. all i will say is that it is very different than anything that i have ever had to do.
ANYway, we had isi olympics which were very entertaining for me because i didn't ahve to do any of them. i just got to watch other people be stupid. lets just say that the boys dances at then end were absolutely the best. oh, jaralei you would have died over andy and ace. they were so dainty.
that night charlotte and i subjected ourselves to getting scared by the guys outside. hoooo. it made my skin crawl. all we did was walk around and let them scare us. andy grabbed me and threw me in the woods and covered my mouth so i couldn't scream. then right after that we were walking back in the house and rebecca jumped out from behind the trees and almost made me pee my pants. later on rebecca brought me a scream mask which she had found and i put it in erin dai's bed. she totally freaked out and then got mad, which just made me laugh. love you errrrrn.
the last night we had a service with worship and teaching. so good. craig did an awesome job. then the next morning we cleaned and came home.
tonight was the kickoff. we had to be in a danish seminar all day. we got translation, but we mostly just played hang man and wrote letters and notes. they fed us constantly. we had like 3 or 4 coffee breaks. unreal. then cake and fruit and lunch. bleh. too much cake. then after the kickoff tonight they brought all the extra cakes to masters. i swear they TRY and make us get fat. there is no escaping it.
there was this lady that was sitting in front of us at the service tonight and everyone stood up for something, but then sat down.... but not this chick. this lady continued to stand. she just stood there, while everyone else was sitting. oh, it was grea'st and i couldn't quit laughing. someone decided to bring henrik's woopy cushion with them to church. sarah (craig's wife), got up to do something so we decided that this was a great opportunity to put the cushion to use. daniel was sitting behind her chair and when she came back he slipped it under her. unfortunately if didn't make it under her butt... until she she shifted and i pushed it under her. OHHHHHH MY GOSH. i wish that you all could have been there. it was beautiful.
ok, this is the longest post ever and i have hardly even told half of what has gone on since i last made and entry. more to come when i get time.
